The Garpenberg Mine control room, staffed with four operators with who can monitor everything on a single user interface, thanks to ABB`s System 800xA system.
ABB hoist, with disc breaks for holding the skip while its loaded and unloaded with up to 416 tons of ore. The hoist can bring the skip to the surface from a kilometer below ground in just 28 seconds.
